Account Manager - Direct Mail & Transactional Print - Warrington - £££ Very competitive

Our client has a great opening for an experienced Account Manager with exposure to Direct Mail and Transactional print.

As well as a solid print background, the ideal candidate will have familiarity with Digital communications too.

Role & Responsibilities:

  1. To be responsible for the service delivery, growth and business retention of client accounts.
  2. Take ownership of nominated client accounts and be responsible for their transactional, direct mail and digital communications as applicable.
  3. Deliver a high level of customer service; manage issues and resolve challenges professionally; ensure clear audit trails for jobs are available when requested
  4. Create and maintain daily / weekly / monthly / Management Information reports and provide a pro-active approach to the preparation of this reporting for client review.
  5. Participate in team meetings for production status and pre-production meetings for new projects, if required.
  6. Administer jobs with effective cost management to ensure work is completed in line with the required schedule / SLA and within budget.
  7. To co-ordinate the management of client change through the company Change Control Process.
  8. To escalate and manage any issues internally through to client resolution, satisfaction and formal Issue Reporting.
  9. To develop and add additional value and revenue to client accounts.
  10. To be always fully aware of a job’s status, attend Daily Production Meetings to share client information and to ascertain that jobs are being processed in accordance with client requirements and sign offs.
  11. To ensure that clients are kept informed of the progress of their jobs/projects and engender respect and confidence at all client levels.
  12. Ensure invoicing is conducted on a timely basis, capturing all additional costs and that they are communicated in a timely manner and charged on to clients.
  13. Underpin the delivery of business goals by adhering to all company policies and procedures applicable to the job role and area of responsibility.
  14. Support the Head of Client Services in delivering exceptional service delivery, prepare client review information and attend client meetings as appropriate.
  15. Maintain a flexible attitude to hours worked to always deliver Client Service Satisfaction.

Key Skills:

  1. Working knowledge and practical understanding of Client data formats and data briefs / various printing technology and methods such as digital lasering / printing / finishing / machine and hand enclosing, envelope production and postal services provided by the likes of Royal Mail and DSA providers.
  2. Personable with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Effective detail orientated listening skills.
  4. Accurate, detailed and consistent administration skills.
  5. Good understanding of (MIS) Management Information and Document Composition Systems and an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite i.e., Word / Excel / PowerPoint.
  6. Ability to accurately translate client data driven requirements into Data Development and ultimately production / despatch requirements for job bags and to process through the production workflow.
  7. Ability to generate innovative and effective solutions and added value propositions to both meet and exceed client requirements.
  8. Flexible and able to cope with pressure, resulting from multiple client projects at any one time.
  9. Be a collaborator, able and willing to assist other members of their team and to contribute towards common team objectives.
  10. Good commercial acumen.
  11. Computer literate familiar with use of management information systems for processing & managing jobs.
  12. Able to cope with multiple projects at one time.
  13. Flexible and able to cope under pressure
  14. Understanding of responsibilities regarding compliance issues and safeguarding the company.
  15. Keen to learn and grow
