Graphics Install Manager - Essex - £40k

One of the UK's most reputable Large Format print companies is currently seeking a very experienced Installations Manager.

This client, with their strong client base and business model, are setting up this new and exciting department due to continued strong demand in this specialist arena, complimenting their large investment in new technology.

The company has a superb reputation for providing quality bespoke large format graphics and displays into the retail, POS, corporate, leisure and exhibition sectors. Boasting some big name clients, they are known for excellence and reliability and genuinely happy team, so why not be part of it!

Based out of Essex, you will head up the installation department being responsible for 4 in house installers and over 30 contractors. You will be part of a wider graphics group, consisting of 90 skilled staff across 4 locations in London, Hertfordshire and Essex.

So what will you be doing?

  • Assisting in the setup of the installation department. This will include the recruitment and onboarding of 4 operatives (2 crews).

  • Booking installation teams from our pool of subcontractors.

  • Management of all jobs on company installation schedule and internal software system to ensure on time delivery.

  • Remain a constant point of reference during the working day for the installation teams and project managers.

  • Chasing the various departments to ensure and remind them of the timelines required to ensure that we do not fall behind. Chasing visuals etc.

  • Writing RAMS and installation packs for the teams.

  • With the help of the team, booking shopping centre permits and access equipment.

  • Updating financial spreadsheets so we can review ongoing performance.

  • Briefing installation teams on upcoming jobs

  • Planning large rollouts for clients across the UK and often Europe.

 

We need these skills so that you can align your skills to ours.

  • Experience/knowledge of large format print/signage Industry.

  • Knowledge of the main process involved in the manufacture of print.

  • In depth knowledge on installation processes, time frames and potential issues.

  • Ability to manage, develop and coach a small team.

  • Strong multitasking ability, demonstrating experience working on own initiative.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to manage complex jobs, multiple changes and tight deadlines.

  • Strong IT skills.

  • Excellent team player and work ethic.

  • Flexible attitude to working times.
