Web Developer South Yorkshire - £20-25k

This is a great opening for either an up-and-coming or experienced Web Developer to join a forward thinking Print and Marketing agency in South Yorkshire.

Job Purpose

To design, develop & test code for the on-going development of the Company’s technology services solutions. The position should support both the Company’s internal operating practices as well as solutions delivered to meet Customers’ needs.

  • Number and frequency of customer/colleague complaints and/or issues

Key Accountabilities

  • To design, develop, administer, test & maintain the technology applications, platforms & solutions provided by the Company
  • To interpret written & verbal business requirements and technical specification documents
  • To attend meetings with Customers to discuss requirements and contribute to the roll-out of bespoke applications and solutions
  • To maintain a good working knowledge of the Company’s MIS, software & platform based solutions
  • To help monitor & manage web servers and site technical performance
  • To maintain an in-depth knowledge of technological developments, as well as bringing new ideas forward for further consideration
  • To multi-task and work on multiple projects at any one time
  • To assist with maintenance and house-keeping of the Company’s IT infrastructure
  • To comply with the Company’s Information Security Management System at all times
  • To comply with all Health and Safety and Quality and Environmental Management System policies and procedures adopted by the Company at all times
  • To pro-actively participate in the development, operation and improvement of the Company’s Management Systems in relation to our external accreditations and legal obligations, for example, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and Health and Safety
  • To represent the Company at external functions in a proper and professional manner, whenever required, having an informed opinion from the Company’s perspective
  • To be well presented for work and conduct yourself in a professional and responsible manner at all times
  • To fulfil the Company’s requirements with regard to the Company’s Management Information Systems at all times
  • To follow all administrative procedures adopted by the Company at all times
