This forward thinking and steadily growing print organisation is once more looking to add to its staffing levels in the capacity of a Litho based Production Scheduler.

Job Purpose

Liaising with the Production Director, you will schedule production & processing to meet the customer demands and support the company’s production team.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Customer complaints & satisfaction issues
  • Reduction, management & reporting of reprints & wastage
  • Overtime versus turnover analysis
  • Departmental profit margin
  • OTIF targets

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintains the planning production process
  • Optimise the capabilities of the company
  • Follows the set out guidelines in production when producing works instructions
  • Fully understands the high standard of quality and customer care at all times
  • Works within a team to cover all aspects of production
  • Undertakes projects large are small from start to finish watching each process for quality
  • Produces works instruction as set out by the company
  • Books in hours for all the processes and understands capacity in all areas.  Make sure all instructions are followed
  • To drive the on-going development of Lean principles throughout the Department
  • To comply with the Company’s Information Security Management System at all times
  • To comply with all Health and Safety and Quality and Environmental Management System policies and procedures adopted by the Company at all times
  • To pro-actively participate in the development, operation and improvement of the Company’s Management Systems in relation to our external accreditations and legal obligations, for example, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and Health and Safety
  • To represent the Company at external functions in a proper and professional manner, whenever required, having an informed opinion from the Company’s perspective
  • To be well presented for work and conduct yourself in a professional and responsible manner at all times
  • To fulfil the Company’s requirements with regard to the Company’s Management Information Systems at all times
  • To follow all administrative procedures adopted by the Company at all times
